PREFACE

With the praise of Allah swt that has given grace and karunianya, so can complete journal
report of field work activity (PKL) in herri taylor.

Preparation of this activity pkl journals intend to memnuhi UN requirements (National exam) at
SMKN 1 SOPPENG. the authors are aware of the limitations possessed in the preparation of this
street vendors, so that in possible shortcomings.for that I expect criticism and suggestions that
are self-building of all parties to perfect in the making of journal activities of street vendors to
come. in addition, the writer apologizes as much as possible when there is behavior or speech
impolite during the author carry out field work practices (PKL).

then because the author in preparing the journal activities (PKL) is getting help from various
parties, therefore with all humility, I say thank you as much as possible to all parties who have

INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background
industrial work practices is one of the programs to get closer to the world of school with the
business world that characterizes the vocational high school (SMK). this field work practice
must be taken by every student because it is good and useful for the stock of plunge in
business world graduate school later.with a field work practice program, students are
expected to know the development of the business world relevant to the study program.
knowledge, understanding, and experience of the world of business gained directly through
work practices that open the discourse for students that are much more real. so that later
students can combine with the science that has been in can in school. with prakerin also
expected to be able to open and improve the close working relationship between
educational institutions and industry.

1.2 The objective of industrial job training


1. aligning competencies that are trained in schools with the competencies required
by the world of work.
2. provide additional competence to students to be more in line with the needs of the
world of work.
3. improve student competence through field work practice and at the same time realize
competency based training program.
4. equips students with work experience.
5. strengthen the skills students have gained in school through direct practice in the
world of work.
6. expanding students' horizons to the types of work that exist in the partner industry.
7. obtain feedback from the spouses industry on the development of field work practices
(PKL) in schools.
1.3 The signifance of industrial job training
Job training or what we are familiar with training today is all activities to give, gain, improve,
and develop work competence, productivity, discipline, attitude, and work ethic at certain
skill and skill level according to the level and qualification of position or occupation.
In short, job training is a process of teaching vocational knowledge and skills development
and attitude so that employees are more skilled and able to carry out their responsibilities
better by standards.

There are many benefits that we can take by attending job training. Among others are:
Achieve effective and efficient national job training in order to improve the quality of the
workforce Provide direction and guidance in organizing, coaching and control of job training
Optimize the empowerment and empowerment of all job training resources.To adjust to
business demands and industrial operations from day one to work To reduce learning time
for new employees to become competent.To prepare for the promotion of employment in
more complex and difficult positions, as well as to prepare the workforce in higher positions,
namely the level of control or managerial.

the time of the implementation of PKL in the HM sewing house was held for 3 months
starting from August 8, 2016 until November 8, 2016.

1.1 The profile of industry

Cantika was officially established on 12 September 2011, chaired


by Hj.Nurlaela S.Sos. under the guidance of the Office of
Koperindag Kab.Soppeng South Sulawesi.Cantika consists of 7
business units spread across several districts in Soppeng district.

Cantika lifted the traditional motif of Lipa sabbe into application


and embroidery into kebaya and other women's clothing. In january
2012, Cantika formed Training Institute Sentra Konveksi
Technology Convection / LPK Clothing. Notary SK.MENHUM and
HAMRI Number C-489.HT.03.01 th Date 11 january 2012. Actively
provide basic training of sewing sewing skills and annually receive
students of Industrial Work Practice SMK.

VISION KUB.CANTIKA
Becomes KUB CANTIKA as a venue for the advancement of the
fashion industry and increased revenue of KUB members and
employee welfare.

MISSION KUB.CANTIKA
1. Improve the quality of human resources and participation of KUB
CANTIKA members.
2. Increase the carrying capacity of facilities and infrastructure.

1.1 Conclussion
after the authors do field work practices (PKL) in the home sewing HM is a company
engaged in the field of clothing making industry, its activities provide services via the
purchased from other companies for the sustainability of national buildings and for years to
come. because by providing services HERRI TAYLOR hopefully can be made in one of the
movers for the smooth implementation of national development

1.2 suggestion
for students who will run (PKL) in order to maintain the good name of the school, and
ourselves, we also have to maintain our behavior for (PKL) in HERRI TAYLOR. and the
authors suggest to the HERRI TAYLOR so that the work program of this practice is more
refined, especially the preparation of practical work materials, notices to the counselor far in
advance, there is also the most important according to our supervisor is the existence of
accommodation or whatever form that can motivate mentors guide the practitioners well. this
may be just a suggestion that can be conveyed. Thank you.

clothing, children, men.
industrial location is located in the village of Rompegading Jl.Lawara
The industry receives both retail apparel and party items such as party uniforms, school
uniforms and even teacher uniforms (offices), etc.
