A DETAILED LESSON PLAN in SCIENCE 6

I.Objectives
At the end of 40 minutes, students should be able to:
a. Described the parts of a volcano;
b. Can learn what the effects of the volcano to the environment, animals, and
to people who live near in the volcano; and
c. Demonstrate how volcano erupts using a model.

together your assign group. Make a discussion
on how can the model volcano erupt. And
picked one representative in your group to
demonstrate your model volcano.

I will give you 15 minutes to do that.

Volcano-is an opening of earth’s crust where
lava and volcanic materials are ejected.

of a volcano.
Volcanic Vent-a cylindrical channel that
connects the crater to the magma chamber.
Caldera-formed when the summit of the
volcano collapses.
Lava-molten rock that flows on the surface of
a volcano.

know in the Philippines? And where can find
them?
