I liked that everyone got to research a little about Guatemala and it’s different aspects. But before all of that everyone got to pick their first choice of what they wanted to answer and research. During this project, I learned so many interesting things. I never knew that there are different languages that are spoken. I also didn’t know the different animals that are there. When I was researching there were so many different unique animals.
What was the most difficult part?
For me, the most difficult part was sharing my slideshow even though I was all prepared and knew what I was going to say it was just really difficult. Even though we did it in small groups which I am comfortable about I think it was the speaking. I am dyslexic so for me sharing stuff in front of groups especially in different languages is really difficult. I think it is also an insecure thing because I don’t want someone to say something to me if I mess up a word. But through this project, I learned so much about my specific questions about Guatemala and through my other group members.
What would you like to learn more about?
If this project was going to get done again, I would want to learn about how they live and maneuver with only having to live on one dollar a day. I also wish we could have learned some of the different towns in Guatemala. There could be so many more aspects of living in Guatemala or live in Guatemala and I wish I was able to explore more into it. If this project was going to get done again I think you should add like a game at the end that each group creates or has a storyline behind all of it.
