1. Purpose
To eliminate the chemical and bad odors hazard in the Storage BSG02 at NH-2 Ground Floor facility
SADARA Business complex.
2. Scope of Work
Proposal for INSTALLATION OF THE ADDITIONAL Exhaust fan at Storage BSG02 and
modification of the paint store room with additional ventilation requirement as per attached drawing
at NH-2 GF facility.

3. Proposal

Installation of the side wall exhaust fan as picture attached below; also keeping of the existing AC
inside the Storage BSG02 as the unit creating effective effect recycling the bad odors with cooling
in the room.

Sequence of Activities.

3.1. Ensure all the requirements are fulfilled for obtaining safe work permit which will be used
specifically for the activity mentioned in job description.

3.2. Ensure that all the competent personnel working on the activity are utilizing all the required PPEs
which include the basic PPE requirements of SADARA as well as any additional PPEs as required by
the safe work permit.

3.3. Ensure that the material used during in the aforementioned proposal is as per SADARA standards
and On-Site inspection is performed before commencing the activity.

3.4. Ensure that the Area surrounding the activity is barricaded as per safety standards.

3.5 Ensure that the civil team has cored the brick wall as depicted in the drawing for installation of the
Exhaust Fan.

3.6: Proper cutting or coring of the side wall will be done 3mt above ground and proper casing or
masonry will be done to achieve exact dimension opening for the fix of the side wall exhaust fan.

a) Attached below is the picture of side wall type exhaust fan available in the facility at NH-1 Sport
center. Similar shall be installed but with a CFM requirement of 50-80 CFM.

b) Power for the exhaust fan shall be drawn from the outlet inside the store; however the location
of the Electrical outlet shall relocated with proper loto procedures.
c) Electrical Team shall relocate the outlet with wire screed of wire size 12AWG using PVC
conduit by chipping the wall through relocation route and retaining the wall finish and paint after
relocation.
d) Metal junction box will be 3’’x 3’’ will be installed at new proposed height; near to the exhaust
fan.
