TITLE OF THE STUDY:
A STUDY ON GLOBAL WARMING AND ITS EFFECT ON INDIAN
INDUSTRY

INTRODUCTION

Global warming is an average increase in the temperature of the atmosphere near the earth surface
and which can contribute to changes in global climate patterns. The effects of global warming
include raising, sea levels, regional changes precipitation more frequent extreme weather events
such has heat waves and expansions of deserts. Global warming is the long term warming of the
planet overall temperature. Global warming begins when sunlight reaches the earth. The clouds,
atmosphere particle reflective ground surfaces and surface of oceans then sends back about 30% of
sunlight back into the space. Whilst the remaining observed by oceans air and land.

This frequently heats up the surface of the planet and atmosphere, making life feasible. As the earth
warms up, this solar energy is radiated by thermal radiation and infrared rays propagating directly
out to space there by cooling the earth. However, some of the outgoing radiation is re-absorbed by
carbon di oxide, water vapours, ozone, methane and other gases in the atmosphere and is radiated
back to the surface of earth. These gases are commonly known as greenhouse gases due to their
heat trapping capacity.

It must be noted that this re-absorption process is actually good as the Earth’s average surface
temperature would be every cold if they was existence of greenhouse gases. The dilemma begin
when the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere was artificially increased by human
kind at an alarming rate since the past two centuries. As of 2004, over 8 billion tones of carbon
dioxide pumped thermal radiation further hindered by increased levels of greenhouse gases
resulting in phenomenon known as human enhanced global warming effect.

NEED FOR THE STUDY

• To find out the impact of Global warming.

.
• To know the level of importance of industrial pollution, fossil fuels, and agricultural
practices.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

There are numerous problems being faced by people in India due to climatic changes and floods.
The global warming is increasing global temperatures and causing a board range of changes. Sea
levels are rising due to thermal expansion of the ocean, in addition to melting of land ice. Amounts
and patterns of precipitation are changing. The total annual power of hurricanes has already
increased. Changes in temperature and precipitation patterns increase the frequency, duration, and
intensity of other extreme weather events, such as floods, droughts, heat waves, and tornadoes.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

• To understand the existing policies of pollution control board of industries

• To imparting of modern professional and technical education in communication and

information.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:

SOURCES OF DATA

PRIMARY DATA
Primary data will be collected through questionnaire, personal interview and observations.

SECONDARY DATA

The major source of secondary data is through

• Books
• Journals
• Articles
PLAN OF ANALYSIS

The data collected for research is mainly on the basis of secondary data. The area of the study for
the research purpose is Bangalore. The study is conducted by observations. The data will be
collected through the personal interview and will be analyzed. By studying write-ups, journals
the detailed information will be collected. An analysis will be undertaken to find out the impact
of global warming affecting the Indian industry.
