Organizational Hierachy

The organization has a definite hierarchy which shows Organizational & Business structure,
through which leaders or managers interact with subordinates, subordinates with subordinates,
under specific protocols & code of conduct which is characteristic of a working group.

HIERARCHY
a. Executive Directors
i. Headed by Mr. A.M. Naik
ii. Followed by Subordinates
b. Non Executive Directors
i. Headed by Mr. S. Rajgopal
ii. Followed by Subordinates

Also another characteristic which defines this as working group is that it is headed by a Focused
Leader, Mr. A.M. Naik (who is in-charge as well as accountable for the performance of the
organization).

1. Each and every individual is working towards achievement of organizational goals, targets &
objectives (vision & mission of organization), through a set of predefined rules, regulations, norms
and standards which is a important feature of a work group.

2. As an organization, segmenting of various branches is done in L&T -- like L&T Infra, L&T
InfoTech, L&T finance etc. Delegation of authority is there as seen from organizational chart plus
people are working to achieve individual goals and targets assigned, which is a characteristic of a
work group.

3. The company has been continuously achieving increasing turnover over the years, which shows
high level of motivation among its employees and which is a very important characteristic of work
group.

4. Each individual plays its part in offering different or contradicting or diverse views which decides
for Quality Decision making, in turn growth which is of high importance in a work group. L&T Stats
are complementary of such processes.
