Glasgow to take on Wolf Point Friday

The game is set for Friday,
October 18th in Wolf Point and is
another key one for Glasgow as the
Scotties are playing for seeding in
the upcoming playoffs.
The Scotties are still in position
to get the number one seed from the
Northern B. Glasgow is not the only
key game this week. Malta travels to
Fairfield to take on the defending
state champion Eagles Friday night.
Both teams enter the contest with
6-0 overall records and are both 4-0
in conference play.
Fairfield is ranked number
one according to the 406mtsports
rankings. Malta comes in at number
five. Malta knocked Glasgow out
of the top ten with a 16-8 victory

Ellen was right, why is
Hollywood still attacking her?

Ellen DeGeneres was right. She said what needed to
be said. And yet, some of her fellow Hollywood liberals
continue to attack her. She’s liberal. She’s part of the LGBT
community. She’s Hollywood. And yet, it’s not enough for
some of the bigots on the Left.
Below is the story I shared a little over a week ago.
Ellen was spotted at a Dallas Cowboys game smiling and
sitting next to George W. Bush, a strong Christian and

conservative former President of the United States.
As Fox News reported:
“People were upset,” DeGeneres said. “They thought,
why is a gay Hollywood liberal sitting next to a conservative
Republican president?... A lot of people were mad. And
they did what people do when they’re mad... they tweet.”
But Ellen responded perfectly:
“Here’s the thing: I’m friends with George Bush. In
fact, I’m friends with a lot of people who don’t share the
same beliefs that I have,” DeGeneres continued. “We’re all
different and I think that we’ve forgotten that that’s okay
that we’re all different... but just because I don’t agree
with someone on everything doesn’t mean that I’m not
going to be friends with them.”
Ellen said it perfectly: It is okay to disagree. We can
still be friends at the end of the day. Even on some of
the biggest issues of our day — including the definition
of marriage, and topics such as religious liberty. Or, as
Kellie Fiedorek put it so well during a recent banquet for
the Montana Family Foundation in Billings, Montana:
“Disagreement is not discrimination.”
That’s exactly why I expected the attacks on Ellen
from the intolerant Left to continue. You see, Ellen didn’t
just commit the sin of sitting next to President George
W. Bush, she also reinforced what many of us have been
saying for years: Just because you have different beliefs,
different beliefs about the definition of marriage, or
because you stand up for religious liberties — doesn’t
mean you hate anyone.

An American tourist in Moscow found himself
needing to get rid of a large supply of garbage from his
recent stay at an apartment. After a long search, he just
couldn’t find any place to discard of it. So, he just went
down one of the side streets to dump it there.
Yet, he was stopped by a Moscow police officer,
who said, “Hey you, what are you doing?”
“I have to throw this away,” replied the tourist.
“You can’t throw it away here. Look, follow me,”
the policeman offered.
The police officer led him to a beautiful garden
with lots of grass, pretty flowers, and manicured
hedges. “Here,” said the cop, “dump all the garbage you
want.”
The American shrugs, opens up the large bags of
garbage, and dumps them right on the flowers.
“Thanks for giving me a place to dump this crap,”
said the tourist. “This is very nice of you. Is this Russian
courtesy?”
“No,” says the Ruski, “this is the American
Embassy.”

An elderly fisherman wrote to a mail order

In a short time he received the following reply:

you the engine.”
Thank you to all those who supported our 2nd
annual Mental Health Awareness Walk. Thank you for
helping bring awareness to Mental Health Stigma and
the need to decrease it. Thank you to Jordan Dunlap
for sharing her story and to Chante’ Japp for taking
the time to put together a video in order to share her
story. We appreciate you both for your willingness to
help bring awareness that mental health affects all
of us at some point in our life and that there is help
available, and with that help you can lead very healthy
and fulfilling lives. The basic message from these two
ladies is to reach out/ask for help.
We would also like to thank the following 4-H
members Kaitlyn Miller, Carly Tihista and Trey
Johnson for your help with the set up and take down of
our event. Thanks to the Elk’s Lodge for the use of your
sound system, and a big thank you to Albertson’s and
Reynolds for donating the hotdogs, buns, condiments,
cookies, chips and water. Also, thank you to the Valley
Event Center for the use of your parking lot and plug
in, and the City of Glasgow for the use of the Civic
Center entryway and lawn.

person with the highest public/popular vote in my humble
opinion are committing treason....no question about it.

some of the things he promised. And, incidentally very few if
any of the campaign promises uttered by Mr. Trump involved

On another matter: What if President Trump really
did what the wicked-witch from the west is saying. What
if he colluded with the Ukraine guy? All I can see is a case
of semi-dirty politics which of course, the Democrats have
never resorted to....or maybe have’nt been caught at it...oh,
but they have been caught but never vilified and raked over
the proverbial coals such as they’ve done to THEIR president
for the past three years.
Oh hell, why not? Impeachment. He colluded...

On the same but different tack remember when LBJ got
caught swinging his Beagle dogs by the ears and told the press
present “they like it”? There was crazy impeachment talk over
that fiasco.
If anyone really deserved impeachment it would
naturally have to be William J. Clinton who “didn’t have sex
with that woman” and was so stupid he didn’t know what the
definition of is is.
Impeachment is nothing more or less than an indictment.
It, para-phrased into Vaupel-ese, means that “somebody
did something”.....Hey! Their esteemed Congresswoman of
Minnesota, Ilhana Omar got away with saying that, why can’t
I? I was born here. My rights are grand-fathered in. Yikes!
