I am directed to convey the A/A & E/S on account of training of Self Defence and Martial Arts
(Taekwondo) for Girls Students of DoE under Samagra Shiksha 2019-20 amounting to
Rs.58,86,000/-. The details of the said amount is as under:-

Subject: Guidelines for Heads of Schools for organising Training of

Self Defence and Martial Arts (Taekwondo) for girl students of DoE,
under Samagra Shiksha 2019-20.

1. DDE/DPO of concerned District will be the overall incharge and

ensure proper utilization of funds and submit zone wise utilization
certificate to DDE (Samagra Shiksha).
2. The remuneration of self defence coaches is fixed for Rs 500 per class
of duration of 2 hour, not exceeding 06 classes per month.
3. A training for 3-Months will be imparted to girl students upto class X
in Govt. Schools under DoE, GNCT of Delhi Cb 3000/month for 3-
months (6 working days x Rs. 500/day of 2-hours per class to
Resource Person/Trainer).
4. Two batches of minimum 50 students each will be trained for duration
of 1 hour each in a session of training.
5. The Coaches for training of Self Defence will be appointed at school
level in consultation with a committee constituted at school level.
6. HoS at school level will depute one responsible teacher from the staff
to coordinate with self defence coach in training schedules.
7. Any material required for self defence training will be managed by the
HoS from the funds available in school.
