What made you stop working when you are at work? Was it your stress? Or was that
your negative stimulus?
Generally, stress is a reason which can make your life a struggle. Stress is all
around us, and work is a primary contributor. When we feel stressed at work, it
becomes challenging to focus on one thing and make any progress. Most work involves
stress, this can hit individuals at all levels within an organization, including
employees, team leads, managers, and senior leaders. Some stress is reasonable if
it excessive then it can become a problem.
Everyone knows what stress feels like and we have most likely all experienced it
once in our lives, at home, at a college or at work. If it is normal then it can be
beneficial in a small amount, but if it is ongoing, then work productivity suffers,
and poor performance can crush a career.
Employees who are not given the right direction about their job responsibilities,
or feel there is no opportunity for success at their job, develop negative emotion
such as frustration or grievance. This leads to being more focused on the surviving
of a job than contributing to an organization success.
Working late hours or overtime, no proper breaks and carrying work home.
Work deadline, time pressure, working too hard or too fast or unreal targets.
Job Insecurity.
There are many things you can do to handle your stress levels, whether you are team
leaders or a part of the team.
Think Positively
Start your day with positive energy. Make self-talk as easy as possible and dont
let any negative things on your mind. Soon enough you will be going with the flow
of your day in your own way, no matter what comes on your path. Dont judge or make
a conclusion about what is happening at any moment.
Sometimes your boss has pressure that you dont even know about, and is passing it
on to you. Dont bother anything, just do your work. The more you direct positive
thought to your life, and the easier it will reduce stress and let happiness in at
work.
Take a deep breath. Slow, deep breathing help you to reduce frustration and calm
down. Being calm we can work more productive and make a better decisions.
Hopefully, you will implement these things whenever you feel stress at workplace,
and experience a happier and joyful life ahead.
