1. Mechanics:
Correct font size and style should be followed and should be consistent in the whole paper.
Alignment should be justified.
Observe proper grammar. Style of writing should be for academic papers and not for essay,
blogs, or daily journals.
2. Rationale and research problem:
Background of the study in the research plan would be mostly what’s written in this part but
objectives should be included in the objectives part.
After stating the background and the problem, then what? Your statements were all left hanging,
you should state the need of doing the research.
3. Objectives:
The objectives should only be stated here in this section.
Observe proper punctuation marks in stating your objectives.
Make sure that your objectives are aligned with the whole paper.
Use verbs in Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Objectives should be SMART. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound.
4. Significance of the study:
The importance of the study should be elaborated for each: (should be written in paragraph
form)
For school and school administrators, For students, For teachers, For parents, For community
and For future researchers
5. Review of Related Literature:
There should be an introduction for RRL.
The articles should be categorized through its parts or topics or variables not by titles.
The article should only present important summary of the topic.
Articles should be scholarly and not from blogs and newspapers.
Observe proper citation.
Include the synthesis (summary and gap) and the word synthesis as heading.
6. Theoretical Framework:
Introduce the theory with the proponent.
Explain why the theory was being used.
Explain the important factors of the theory in summarized paragraph form.
7. Conceptual Framework:
Make sure the diagram is organized.
Explain the framework in one paragraph.
8. Scope and Limitation:
Always include the scope and limitation that tells the focus and boundaries of your study.
9. Methodology:
You may introduce the methodology part but do not put what’s already in the other sections of
the methodology.
10. Research Site:
Don’t describe the place, explain why you choose it. Don’t just focus on the accessibility, focus
on the population.
11. Respondents:
Total number of participants, sample size, sampling technique and characteristics of participants
should be elaborated.
12. Research design:
Explain the design used and if it is Quali or Quanti.
Step by step data collection procedure should be discussed in this section.
13. Data Analysis:
Explain how the data will be analysed.
14. Research Instrument:
Describe the questionnaire or interview questions.
15. Bibliography:
All authors cited above be included in this section.
Authors should be listed alphabetically.
Use APA style.
Remove hyperlink (no blue and underline URL)
Follow indention as suggested by APA format
