1KW SOLAR PANEL (Vendor – M/s KAMLA Instruments) – IPDS

(ANNEXURE – I)

1. The structures provided shall be of flat-plate design with combination of I, C and L

sections as per structure design requirement to with stand 150 kph wind speed.
Suitable Anti theft fastening arrangement such as grouting and clamping should be
provided to secure the installation against the specified wind speed.
2. Structural material shall be hot dipped galvanizing minimum thickness of 80
microns on both sides as per IS 5909. The thickness of iron used for structure
should not be less than 6mm.
3. All fasteners shall be of stainless steel of grade SS 304.
4. Modules are proposed to be installed on the roof over a structure at suitable height.
The clearance of the lowest part of the module shall be 0.5 meter.
5. Tool kit including all instruments for metering such as digital voltmeter,
Clamp meter etc and Earthing kit.
6. Earthing system for complete system including PV Array, DC power system,
Power control Unit etc. All equipments in the system shall be properly
earthed. Separate AC & DC Earthing pit shall be considered.
7. Industrial grade PC shall be provided for Remote monitoring (4GB RAM, 500GB, i5 processor
along with all accessories shall be provided for each Substation where SPV shall be installed.
8. DC meters for array voltage & current shall be provided.
9. Neutral points of system metallic enclosures and frame works, not forming
part of electric supply shall be connected to main earthing system.
10. Necessary Test Point provision shall be made for bolted isolating joints of
each earthing pit for periodic checking of earth resistance.
11. Earthing details shall be provided as per TS Cl. No. 4.8.
12. O & M spare to be provided by Manufacturer for 5 years.
