AMOS (Advanced Managed Object Scripting)

- Open Shell Terminal


- At the command prompt> type moshell <node B ip address>
Eg. NodeB: CELCOMKT IP address: 10.154.101.53

Default password: ‘rbs’


Command list

- Print all active alarms


At AMOS prompt> type al

- Display of Node B IP address


At AMOS prompt> type ifconfig
- To check IUB connectivity between NodeB to Router (IPRAN)
At AMOS prompt> type ping <Router IP>

*Get the Router IP address from NSA


NCLI (Node Command Line)

- Open Shell Terminal


- Example: to access Site CELCOMKT IP 10.154.101.53
- At the command prompt, telnet <NodeB IP address>
username: <anything>
password:<rbs>
- At the command prompt, type ncli

- To check Node B External alarms,

type alarms

NOTE:

NCLI also can be access direct through NODE STATUS ANALYZER without login a password
OSS COMMON EXPLORER

From the OSS Common Explorer, user can perform:

i. Lock/Unlock Utran Cell


ii. Display Utran Cell
iii. View KPI and etc.

Lock/Unlock Utran Cell

- Open OSS Common Explorer


- Choose RNC and select an NodeB - Right click and select Lock/Unlock option

NOTE:

Cell state Operation – it means cell is working

Cell state Disable – it means cells is blocked/downed

Cell state Locked – it means cells is locked by Admin

 If there are no Utran cells defined, it means that NodeB is still not on air (under commisioning)
Display Alarms

- Open OSS Common Explorer


- Select Network status perspective at the top right icon
- Choose RNC and select an NodeB – Select Alarm View from View menu

View KPI

- Open OSS Common Explorer


- Select Network status perspective at the top right
- Choose RNC and select an NodeB – Select Properties View from View menu
Cabinet Viewer

- Open OSS Common Explorer


- Choose RNC and select Node B
- Select NodeB – Right click and select Cabinet Viewer

From the Cabinet Viewer the user can:

* Restart the RBS

* Restart a selectable object

* Lock or unlock a selectable object

* Test a selectable object

* Refresh the RBS information

* Save details

* Save logs
Launching Node Status Analyser (NSA)

- Open OSS Common Explorer

- Choose RNC and select an NodeB - Right click and select the Node Status Analyser option

NSA is started as follows:

Alternatively, NSA may be launched from the Alarm List Viewer, ALV (if available) as follows:

* Select a RBS Network Element alarm, then select Node Status Analyser from the Tools menu.

Note:

When attempting to launch NSA from an RNC Element Alarm in the ALV GUI, one of the following occurs:

1. From alarms on a UtranCell MO, NSA launches only if the UtranCell is connected to an RBS.

2. From alarms on any other MO type, an error dialog is displayed.


Launching a NodeB Shell from Node Status Analyser

To launch a NodeB shells from Node Status Analyser do the following:

1. From the Node Status Analyser menu bar select Tools, then select NodeB Shell.
Real Time Traffic

From Node Status Analyser,

Real-time Traffic Flow Indicators

Three real-time flow indicators from the RBS are displayed. The real-time flow indicators are:
* fachDchHsUsers
The current number of UEs in state FACH/DCH and HS in the RNC.

* iuThroughputCs
The current Iu throughput for CS traffic.

* iuThroughputPs
The current Iu throughput for PS traffic.

Launching a NodeB Element Manager from Node Status Analyser

To launch a NodeB Element Manager from Node Status Analyser do the following:

1. From the Node Status Analyser menu bar select Tools, then select NodeB Element Manager.
