SERIES 6700 GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEM

Series 6700 gas chromatograph is a modular, solid state instrument designed for a variety of
analytical and non-analytical applications. it comprises of the basic unit to which a broad range of
optional modules may be added. Options available permit isothermal or temperature programmed
operation, use of thermal conductivity detector, flame ionization detectors, nitrogen phosphorus
detectors or ECD detector, syringe or valve sample introduction.
A large oven with a removable front opening door is standard. Each heated zone – injectors, detectors,
column oven – is insulated to minimize heat transfer between zones, the temperature of each one of
which can be controlled and read independently. Flow and pressure controls of the carrier gas, fuel and
air are housed on right side of the oven. Top mounted injectors allow vertical sample injection.

Column Oven
a) Temp. Range : Ambient to 399 ºC
b) Heating Rate : 70 to 350 ºC in 8 minutes.
c) Temp. Programming: 0.1 ºC to 29 ºC / min in steps of 0.1 ºC/min.
d) Oven Capacity : Accept S.S., Glass, all type of Capillary Column, up to 3 Injector, 3 Column, and 3 Detectors.
e) Display : Digital display of set & actual status of temp. , current etc.
f) Oven Body : Stainless Steel Oven capacity 15-16 liter.
Injector

Can accept S.S. / Glass up to 12m length, wide bore Capillary column up to 110 m length.
2. On Column Capillary Injector with Split / Split less facility
Temp. Range: Ambient to 390 ºC in step of 10ºC can accept all type of
capillary column up to 110 m length.
Detectors
1. Flame Ionization Detector (FID)
Type : Quartz jet.
Temp. Range : Ambient to 390 ºC in step 10ºC.
Output : 1 mV DC or 1.0 DC or 10 V DC
2. Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD)
TCD Filament Design : 04 Filament Tungsten –Rhenium on Wheatstone bridge Principal
Temp. Range : Ambient to 390 ºC in step 10ºC.
Temp. Stability : ±0.1°C
Linear Dynamic Range : 1 x 106
TCD Filament Current : 0 - 300 mA, Constant Filament Temp. Control with display of current
through filament with overload protection Pressure switch cut off for carrier gas supply failure.

PNEUMATIC
Regulator/Needle Valve and Pressure Gauge for carrier and fuel gasses.

Chromatography Software
Microsoft Window based Single / Dual channel 32-bit software with sampling frequency 50 Hz. Qualitative &
quantitative, end results with internal, external, percentage & Area normalization basis. Data management controller
capable for find RT, chrotogram tracing, zooming, sequencing, overlaying, panning, height, % height, area,
% area with customized report generation etc. High speed independent up to four channel and other activities
proceeding in Windows with optional networking.
