 Definition

A report text is a type of text that contains

general information mainly related to general
knowledge with a purpose of informing the
readers.
 Social Function
• To describe the way things are, with
reference to a range of natural, man-made
and social phenomena in our environment
Generic Structure
 Thanks Giving
Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving
Day is a celebration of
harvest, thankfulness for
peace, and the attempt of
Native Americans. It is
usually celebrated in late
autumn.
In the past, Thanksgiving was
celebrated for their rich
harvest in New England. In
North America, however, it
was originally held to thank
God for their survival in the
new land which was not easy

 BUTTERFLY
Butterflies up in a metaphor for a change in positivity
are whimsical looking creatures with complex biology. With
around twenty four thousand species, there is no shortage of
colours pattern in general beauty.
Butterflies are often overlooked this being part of
insect family for the very appeal. The wings are actually
transparent media players at the protein that make up the
exoskeleton.
It is the skills on the butterfly wings that reflects light
creating all of the beautiful colour.
Butterflies are not only beautiful unprotected, but
also impressive in terms of physics. The wings can carry up to
50 times their body weight.
