MANAGEMENT SYSTEM LAB on the topic of ATTENDANCE ANALYSER. This gave

 1. ABSTRACT

Our project have now become a necessity in colleges. Colleges are

upgrading in every aspect but still we use the same old techniques to
mark the student attendance. This project “Attendance Analyser” aims to
provide a web application where teachers and professors can upload
their attendance and analyse the progress and statistics of the students.
Instead of calculating manually the percentage of attendance and for a
particular batch or subject, we can directly input the data of attendance
and represent in graphically using the developed project web application.

We are using Database and Django for the same. This application
increases the speed and accuracy of the faculty to organise the
attendance data of the students. Also graphical representation helps in
understanding the attendance trends easily.

2. PROBLEM DEFINITION
In the existing system, teachers and professors need to mark the
attendance and analyse the record of a batch or subject manually. This
attendance analysis is time consuming. Here we propose an application
where all the attendance will be uploaded and will be analysed and
represented in the form of graphical data, which will in return help to
understand the attendance trends of the students.

3. MOTIVATION
The goal of this project is to develop a generic web application that can
be deployed on the college system. We realised this in our college that
attendance is a big aspect and it can be mismanaged easily. So,
simplifying the process was our main motive behind the development of
this project. By using this application, it would be very easy for the
students and the faculty to manage the attendance and the analytics of
the same.
