05 - Release Note:

Description:
This firmware further enhance the protection against possible random data, that could create (on
some instrument) spurious controls (i.e. Pitch value) during a very stressed playing (also) with the
hold pedal pressed.

Numa Compact Firmware 1.04 - Release Note:

Description: installing this firmware (besides all improvements of previous releases) the MIDI data
sent by the instrument have been optimized, at slow velocities (sending always MIDI velocity
value 1, instead of 0) and also at max velocity (all keys always reach 127, with any selected curve).

Numa Compact Firmware 1.03 - Release Note

Description:
this firmware includes a self-tuning function for the Pitch Bend Wheel, in case of subtle random
instability of the central tuning (due to possible mechanical tolerances) with no need of any
hardware adjustment. To self-calibrate the wheel, after installing the new firmware, turn the
instrument Off, move the wheel several times and release it at normal position, then turn the
instrument On and wait a few seconds: the central tuning and the Pitch bend range will be
automatically adjusted.

Procedure:
• Download the Numa Compact Updater from the site (if not already installed in your
computer) selecting the folder Mac or Windows; with Windows you can use "WinDrv" to
install the driver.
• Download the latest version of the firmware "Numa Compact OS" and extract the files
• Open the Updater and connect the Computer to the instrument with a standard USB cable
• Power On the Numa Compact while pressing the "Funct" button: the display will show
"UPL" and the instrument will be ready to receive the update from your computer.
• Open the Updater panel and select the folder with the Numa Compact Firmware file.dfu to
install. Press "Update" button on the Updater panel and wait for the end of procedure.

note: the OS version 1.02 has not been published, since it was only for temporary internal test-use
 Numa Compact Firmware 1.05 - Release Note:

Questo firmware introduce delle protezione aggiuntive contro possibili dati casuali, che potevano
creare (su alcuni strumenti) dei controlli spuri non voluti (es: Pitch) suonando in condizioni
estreme, con molte note attive (anche con pedale HOLD premuto).

Numa Compact Firmware 1.04 – Release note

Descrizione:
Installando questo firmware, oltre a tutti gli aggiornamenti della versione precedente, i dati MIDI in
uscita sono stati ottimizzati, sia a dinamica minima (inviando sempre valore MIDI 1, invece di 0)
sia a dinamica massima (che con tutti i tasti raggiunge sempre il valore MIDI 127, con qualsiasi
curva dinamica selezionata).

Numa Compact Firmware 1.03 – Release Note

Descrizione:
Questo firmware include una funzione di auto-regolazione della ruota di controllo del Pich Bend, in
caso di eventuale leggera instabilità dell’accordatura centrale (per possibili tolleranze meccaniche)
senza necessità di aggiustamenti hardware o meccanici. Per auto-centrare la ruota, dopo avere
installato il nuovo firmware, a strumento spento muovere la ruota alcune volte, poi accenderlo e
attendere alcuni secondi: l’accordatura centrale e l’escursione corretta del Pitch bend saranno
automaticamente riallineati.

Procedura:

• Scaricate il Numa Compact Updater dal sito, (se non l’avete già installato nel computer)
selezionando Mac o Windows; per Windows potete usare “WinDrv” per installare il driver.
• Scaricate l’ultima versione del Firmware “NumaCompact OS” ed estraete i files.
• Aprite il programma Updater e collegate lo strumento al computer con un cavo USB
standard. Accendete il Numa Compact tenendo premuto il tastino “Funct”; il display
mostrerà “UPL” e lo strumento sarà pronto a ricevere l’aggiornamento.
• Aprite il pannello dell’Updater e selezionate il folder con il firmware del Numa Compact da
aggiornare (file.dfu). Premete “Update” sull’Updater e aspettate la fine dell’installazione.
