Plan Period: From - now To - 2024

My Current Position: In education studying level 3 business

My Long-Term Goal: Accountancy and Finance

Intermediate Steps Over the Next Five Years to Reach My Goal

Try to set two or three short term goals (i.e. those in the next 2 years) and
the remainder for the medium term (following 3 years)

Year One within my first year, I have came up with the short term goal of making
sure that I successfully complete my college course. I am in the last year
of this course and have a few smaller goals which includes handing my
assignments in on time (meeting deadlines) and getting distinctions in all
my upcoming units. I also have the goal of applying for university.
I am hoping that by this time I will have reached University and made it
Year Two onto a Finance Degree. If this isn’t the case, then I know that it would be a
good alternative to do an apprenticeship in accountancy. Hopefully, I will
also have a pat time job that will help me gain experience.
I would like to find some work experience that relates closely to finance at
Year Three this stage. This will help me to act more professional, and have a better
and more clear idea of what finance is about so that I have a better
understanding of what it is going to be like if I ever become an
accountant.
I will be in my final year of University at this point, so I would need to
Year Four make sure that I am concentrating a lot on my degree and education so
that I can secure a good grade at the end of it all. I would like to have
gained some more knowledge from my whole University experience and
become a more mature adult.
in the fifth year I would need to find a job within finance so I can finally get
Year Five into working in the real world. I would definitely need to be working on my
budgeting skills because I would need to be making sure that as an
accountant, I am watching whatI am spending. I will hopefully be able to
buy a house and car at this stage.
