ction shows if shunt
drive behind this signal
is allowed or forbidden.
It consists of two lights,
diameter of Ø70, upper
is red and lower is white.
The housing of the signal
lamp enables routing of
the signal around verti-
cal axle up to 30% both
ways. Each lamp has lens
hood. In the housing of the
shunting signal are placed
the elements for measu-
ring and regulation of the
current for signal lights.
The signal is placed on
standard concrete base,

der the main plate of the main signal, or distant
signal, on the signal pole. It consists of the hou-
sing, panel with lights and up to 35 signal bulbs
arranged as necessary.
BOUNDARY
TRACK SIGNAL
A boundary track signal is used
to divide the main track to limited
sections, or for marking the end of
the main track which is not equi-
pped with the main signal, and for
marking the end of “blind track”.
It consists of signal box, with
4 lights on the front side, out of
which two are red, placed horizon-
tally in line, and two milky white,
placed across from left to right.
Lamps (with bulbs 30 V, 15/15
W) have lens hood and diameter
of Ø70. Signal box enables regula-
tion and optimum signal routing.
Boundary track signal is placed on
the pole with climber, and the pole
is placed on standard foundation
with lockers.
SIGNAL 78
Signal 78 is used to give signal
for train departure. This signal is
the circuit made of green signal li-
ghts. In the circle there are 12 bu-
lbs connected to two separate cir-
cuits. One current circuit made of
6 bulbs makes hatched circuit, and
the other current circuit of 6 bul-
bs makes unhatched circuit. This
signal is placed on the pole of the
exit signal, under signal plate or on
a separate pole.

are activated by coming of the rail vehicle
and in case of any interference. Automatic
turning off of level crossing is performed by
crossing over and leaving of a railway ve-
hicle over double disconnection devices. In
case of malfunction on the level crossing de-
vices, the main signals that protect level cro-
ssing are automatically set to give the signal
for prohibited driving. Basic power supply
of the device is performed from distributi-
ve network. In case of basic power supply
failure, eight-hour reserve is provided from
accumulator batteries.

Poles are made of light anti-corrosive ma-
terial that can resist the wind over 1000 N/m.
These are manufactured in lengths 3,5–7,5 me-
ters without net, or 3,5–4,5 meters with net.
Control insert for pole breakage enables even-
tual breakage to happen on the insert, so that
the pole is not destroyed. Position red signal li-
ght and reflecting glasses provide pole lighting.

10kHz CIRCUIT
The 10 kHz circuit belongs to
a group of tone rail circuits, whi-
ch do not require isolated secti-
ons and expensive equipment to
follow them. It is used for control
of short sections at the level cro-
ssing (it detects the presence of a
train in narrow zone of LC, at 15 m
average).
It operates based on the prin-
ciple of transmitting a high
frequency current of 10 kHz by the
transmitter, passing the current
through the rails and receiving it
on the receiving side. The receiver
receives the current and sends it
back to the LC housing on the track
relay DrL after the voltage corre-
ction. When there is no train on
the LC, the voltage is 10 VDC and
energizes the relay coil.
When the train is in the LC zone
its shafts shortly connect two rails,
causing a voltage drop in the rece-
iving part of the 10 kHz circuit and
the DrL relay dropout. The corres-
ponding relay contact prevents the
switching off the LC after the tra- Features:
