Presently Working as Manager-Manufacturing in Maini Precision Products Bommasandra
Bangalore from jan- 2010 to till Date

About the company:


Maini precision Products company is a TS-16949 and ISO-18001 Certified company.
Engaged in Manufacturing of automobile spare parts like driving shaft,hub,bull gear,pin
accumulator,engagement shaft etc supply globally for Pierburg,General motors,borg
warner,Volvo,hawant and other customers.
The company is globally supplier for hydraulics connectors for EATON company.

My role in the organization:

 Utilization of manpower & machine effectively to meet customer requirements in time..


 Solving the process & quality problems through making the team & analysis .
 Continually improve the production output by reducing the machine setting time.
 Man power reduction by providing multi machine technique.
 Conducting training to improve the skills of operators.
 Preparing weekly production report & presentation.
 Tool-life increase study and reduce cost per component in Tooling and consumables.

About The company


M/s Kirloskar Toyoda Textile Machinary Ltd Bangalore A Toyota group of
company engaged in manufacturing of Auto parts Transmission Assembly in 100%
E.O.U area and Textile machinery in Non E.O.U area.

My role in the organization:


 Monitoring production of Auto parts through various processes.
 Trouble shooting for various technical problems.
 Preparing weekly production report & presentation.
 CNC Machines (Vertical machining centers), SPM’s & other machines inspection and
trials at machine maker place.
 Machine installation & commissioning activities and also complete prove out of
components at KTTM along with machine makers.
 Machining Cell wise Quality parameters establishment.
 Machining Cell wise efficiency improvement by analyzing the loss time data.
 Cycle time reduction in CNC and also non-CNC machines to achieve required Tact time.
 Capacity study for each machining cell for different production volume, preparation of
schedule & executing the same.
 Facility planning like tool trolleys, gauge stand, providing air cleaning for Production.
 Making KAIZEN for quality and cycle time improvements.
 Tool-life increase study and reduce cost per component in Tooling and consumables.
 Manpower management by providing a systematic training with the help of work
sequence sheets and achieving the target from them.
 Associate evaluation depending upon their performance.
 Implementation of systems to put in place the QCD(Quality Cost & Delivery) Goals of the
Organization)
o QUALITY - Established 6 Gates of Quality Check
o COST - Bring down the in-process rejection costs by Movements as KAIZEN,
POKA YOKE etc.
o DELIVERY - Establish systems as KANBAN for Internal & External Logistics
with a primary aim of reducing In-Process Inventory and Achieving Single Piece
flow in the shop.
 Establish Parts Traceability system for Batch identification, in case of Rejections at the
Customer site for taking suitable countermeasures.
 Established Visual Controls in the Shop as ANDON Boards for Production progress
Indication and also for Emergency calls during Line Stops.
 Was involved in the projects as QUALITY NET & ZERO DEFECT program, to fall
well within the PPM targets set by the customer

 Contribution.

 Cycle time and quality proved one intricate shape component of machining center.
 Involved in establishment of quality and cycle time for all manufacturing cells starting
from machine maker place trial to commissioning of the machines
 Awarded for achieving set-up change time reduction for different component in
Vertical machining centers (VMC).
 Awarded for Manpower reduction in shaft straightening cell.(due to manpower reduction
company saved Rs 24000/month).
 Awarded for cycle time reduction in CNC Vertical machining center to achieve the
required target in Auto part division.
 Around more than Three lacs Rs (3,25,845 RS) cost reduction done for the year of 2006-
07 in the area of toolings.
 Increased, hourly output from 45 nos to 53nos of components by reduce the cycle time
of VMC machines.
 Implementing the Poka-yoke (Error proofing) in process design by focusing PPM
reduction.

1. Worked as Multi Skilled operator (Machine building of Ring Spinning M/C) in


Textile department OF Toyota group (KTTM) from Oct 1996 to Apil 2003

My role in the organization:


 Machine Assembly work of Ring spinning machine within specified Takt time to meet
the customer Requirement.
 Kaizen work to improve the working environment and Reduce the operator fatigue.
 Solving problems related to machine assembly by co-coordinating with concerned
departments,
