Sir/ Madame:

Undersigned Private Prosecutors, under the direct control and

supervision of the Public Prosecutor, respectfully request for the
issuance of a SUBPOENA DUCES TECUM and AD TESTIFICANDUM
requiring CIDG – Police Director ROEL BARCENA OBUSAN or his
duly authorized representative, with office address at Lt. Alagar St.,
Camp Crame Quezon City, to testify on the hearing on 22 March 2018 at
8:30 a.m (or on such date and time as may be determined by the
Honorable Court) and at any subsequent hearings, and to bring with
him (a) the Video tape recording conducted on the stateroom of Ens.
Philip Pestaño on board the BRP Bacolod City (LC 550); (b) the
QUARTER MASTER’S LOGBOOK containing the Smooth deck
entries on the date of 27 September 1995 of the BRP Bacolod City (LC
550); (c) The signed 1995 CIDU Investigation Report acknowledging
surrender and/or receipt of the video tape and Smooth deck entries
and other evidences from the Philippine Navy; and other supporting
documents which are not confidential and privileged, and which are
needed in said hearing.
