What every girl needs to hear

I want to apologize to all the women
I have called pretty .
Before I’ve called them intelligent or brave.
I am sorry I made it sound as though
Something as simple as what you’re born with
Is the most you have to be proud of
When your spirit has crushed mountains
From now on I will say things like, you are resilient
Or, you are extraordinary.
Not because I don’t think you’re pretty.
But because you are so much more than that

-rupi kaur

Rupi Kaur wrote this poem that, her writing reflects today’s women, most
of whom want lots of praise, so they are willing to do anything to just hear good
comments. Indeed the fact is that humans look more physically, then accuse “How come
you look so fat today.” And so, apparently wrote to make us aware that we are beautiful,
more than physical beauty standard, more than physical beauty and so on, because we are
valuable and we must be proud of it.”I’ve called pretty.” Write physically beautiful
instead of saying beautiful hearted. The girls and also me, I feel like always comparing
myself to others. But, most of the time it’s something superficial. This is a reminder that
you’re so much more than that. You’re worth, intelligent, your bravery make you
beautiful.
Sentences written with the intention of apparently mentioning girls should be by their
nature and attitude not by saying or judging their physical and shape, such as respecting them
and their intelligence, which means there is no need to be only a physical matter. “I am sorry I
made it sound as though.” That what Rupi wrote was made, but that’s the way it is, apparently
wrote the sentence to represent her apology for judging consciously or impossible to have hurt
someone with a sentences or a sentence that she wrote. “Something as simple as what you’re
born with.” that Rupi should not mention what a girl has from birth, such as skin color, hair type
and so on. indeed that sounds like an excuse, but what he said was not like that. “Is the most you
have to be proud of.” And they must be proud of what they have naturally, is a gift from God that
is thankful for, without turning it into another form, and must be cared for maximally, such as
health and so on. because of them, every girl is born with a unique and different colors, maybe in
some people's eyes they are strange and unnatural, but they are born that way. and they are the
only ones like that.
“When your spirit has crushed mountains.” Regarding the soul, and inner beauty of a
woman, the "mountain" that Rupi asks is all that challenges and challenges that women, because
collected by God created in detail, has a variety of complex problems, but with a soul that tries
and always believes, women are able to Destroy all selfish feelings, do not believe in yourself
and understood that is called resistance. Hence the woman is written the spirits has crushed the
mountain.
“From now on I will say things like, you are resilient” And persistent, brave-spirited,
resilient woman and many more parables referred to by Rupi Kaur in her writings, which she
wrote that women were indeed born with different attitudes, what's wrong with just praising her.
In essence, women are born with kindness, and they are special, born to be happy, and they want
and like to hear what they want to hear, like the expression of some other positive sentences.
