COURIER/LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT

Logistic is a modular full business software framework for an enterprise which possess operations in
domestic and international courier services. Logistic performs a variety of activities pertaining to the
processes in the logistic context of a courier business. Logistic solution handles the end to end
process staring from initiating a courier order, driver pickup and delivery of a courier business.
Logistic covers all the controls and processes involved in International Courier Import Services,
International Courier Export Services and Domestic Pickup & Delivery.

PROBLEM OF TCS
It is too common to hear about precious and expensive packages becoming damaged, lost, or stolen in
transit by major delivery services. While there are a number of reasons due to which such situations
occur, it is often due to poor or unreliable handling practices. Here are the problems that we heard from
the employee. Some of them are described below

1. POOR MANAGEMENT

Employees sitting on higher positions and designation are not enough qualified to perform certain job.
Their lack in technical knowledge and details. Work politics prevails too much in the system.

SOLUTION

Poor and ineffective management comes in many forms some work places are toxic and downright and
hostile. But in most cases ineffective management can be dealt with in many ways

 By looking at the situation objectively and positively.


 Talking to your boss directly. For example try to schedule meeting with your manager and tell
him or her exactly how you feel about the situation.in this way you will find that your manager
can eliminate these situation with an alternative perspective and your manager will be more
than willing to make adjustments in the future.
 Proper training programs should be introduced for the higher level of management where they
are supposed to equip themselves with technical and work related knowledge.

3. . TCS will ensure you to provide cleanest work environment but one cannot survive from
office politics in which hard workers end up with C band and bootlickers end up with A

1. Not proper training and knowledge sharing. HR is not people's


representative.completely management driven company where HRs are only
puppet.if something goes wrong ,chances are few that someone could be on
your side

6. LOW PAY SALARY

1. Salary is very low especially for fresher. Less salary as compared as compare to other services
based companies. The employee is never rewarded with bonuses when a work is well
done.TCS do not give much salary hike due to large number of employees and it is difficult to
get recognized. Very less overtime paid to the employees. Salary hike has been almost
reduced to half.previously employee could get a hike of RS 100000 in a year
whereas now it is reduced to nearly RS.50000 for a ASE Trainee
