    The principal of Capital School Bahrain wrote a letter to parents about ongoing traffic problems around the school. While acknowledging the traffic can take up to 40 minutes, the principal observed the traffic would flow better if all drivers remained in one lane of traffic and did not make a second lane or take shortcuts. Unfortunately, the school's CCTV caught two cars driving dangerously this week and those drivers were issued warning letters about a possible site ban in the future. The principal thanked the majority of cooperative parents and guardians.

    School Traffic

    Dear Parents / Guardians,

    I am writing to thank the majority of you for your help and co-operation in relation to our traffic
    problems. I fully accept, that it’s not ideal situation with people being stuck in traffic for up to forty
    minutes or more at a time some days.

    However and from my observations, the traffic will flow with greater ease if all drivers remain in one
    line of traffic and not make a second lane; exit via the entrance gate; park on the staff car park or take a
    short cut over by the Al Ahli Club Stadium. Ignoring all of the above this only creates frustration and
    tension amongst the drivers who comply.

    Sadly, this week we caught two cars on the schools CCTV, driving dangerously and erratically, putting
    other at risk in doing so. Warning letters of a future site ban have now been given to the drivers of both
    vehicles. Once again, to the majority of parents and guardians I offer my sincere thanks for your
    cooperation.
