PROCEDURE:
1. Obtain ignition key 93006. May be located in key lock box #2 in room 108 or in the ignition of the generator itself.

2. Check oil level before starting. If oil is needed use Guardal 10-40 motor oil, 20 fluid oz. fills the crank case.

3. Check fuel level. If fuel is needed be sure the generator is off and cool before filling. Use only unleaded 87 octane gas.

4. Check that the circuit breaker is in the OFF position.

5. Turn fuel cock to the open position.

6. Close choke to full close position.

7. Turn the key to START. Engine should crank and start. At this time move choke lever to the full open position. Allow engine to warm up.

8. At this point a tool cord or extension cord can be plugged into the generator for operation, using the appropriate outlet. Switch the circuit
breaker to the ON position.

9. To shut down the generator: turn OFF the circuit breaker and allow engine generator to idle for cool down. Turn the fuel cock to the OFF
position while the engine is still running. This will allow the engine generator to continue running for a short time for cool down and will shut
down when the fuel runs out. This procedure prevents fuel from sitting in the carburetor bowl for extended periods of time and possibly
damaging the equipment.

10. Turn key to the OFF position.

11. Remove key and return to Admin. room 108, lock box 2.

NOTE: fueling should only be done in a well ventilated area.
