Product Description
DAREXŠ OP 2928-S-16 Can Sealing Compound is a water based compound based on synthetic
rubber. The product is designed for die-lining and shower head application and is specially
formulated for use as a sealant in the double seams of irregular aqueous and oily/fatty food and
general line cans. The gasket is resistant to hot and cold filling, double seaming with or without
steam injection and subsequent pasteurization or sterilization.

The correct film weight, curing conditions and proper stirring are vital to achieve the maximum
compound performance. It is recommended that all new applications are submitted to a pack test

Handling & Storage Recommendations

We strongly recommend storing this product in the original closed containers. For optimum
performance, this product should be used within 3 months of the manufacturing date. Store under
uniform temperature conditions between ƒC and ƒC, avoid wide temperature differentials. Do not
store in direct sunlight.
