INTRODUCTION

This CardPrintingService-Regional 6.09.9 is to be installed on a server machine where


previously existing CardPrintingService-Regional running, This CardPrintingService-Regional
will be configured to Central IDMS, Regional Data Provider service & SIAK OFF Databases.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

➢ Win 2008
➢ Oracle 11.2
➢ 32-bit Oracle TNS client
➢ IIS 7 with WCF activated
➢ In IIS 7, default app pool has to be configured with 32 bit mode enabled
➢ Setup of SIAK OFF
➢ Default Oracle password of SYSTEM account to biomorf.
➢ Dot Net Framework from 3.6 & 4.0
➢ Any anti-virus installed should be de-activated during the installation process

INSTALLATION PROCESS

Note: Please note down existing service URL’s from Web.config before starting
installation, below are the URLs to note.

● http://localhost/RegionalSIAKDataProviderService/dataproviderservice.svc

● http://localhost/CentralIDMSDataproviderService/DataProviderService.svc

● http://localhost/CPFService/CPFService.svc

Step 1: Make sure service and IIS are up before starting installation
Step 2: Double click CardPrintingService-Regional-6.09.9FullInstaller.exe to start the
setup

Step 3: The CardPrintingService-Regional Installation screen appears

Click Uninstall to continue Installation


Step 4: Installation prompts for the confirmation to uninstall. Click Yes

Steps 6: During uninstallation process the screen appears as below


Step 6: “CardPrintingService uninstall successfully” pop up message will appears
once uninstallation done. Click on OK

Step 7: Once uninstallation done again Double click CardPrintingService-Regional-


6.09.9FullInstaller.exe to install the setup

Step 8: The CardPrintingService-Regional Installation screen appears

Click Install to continue Installation


Step 9: Accept the License and click on Install

Step 10: Click on Finish


Step 11: Click Yes.

Step 12: Click Yes


Step 13: Click Next

Step 14: Accept the license and click on install


Step 16: Click on Finish

Step 16: Click Next


Step 17: Accept the License and click on Install

Step 18: Click Finish

Step 19: Click Yes


Step 20: Agree the license and click on Next

Step 21: Click close


Step 22: Click Ys

Step 23: Click Yes

Step 24: Click Next


Step 26: Accept the license and click on Install

Step 26: Click on Finish


Step 27: Click Next

Step 28: Accept the license and click on Install


Step 29: Click Finish

Step 30: Click Next


Step 31: Accept the license and click install

Step 32: Click Finish


Step 33: Click Next

Step 34: Accept the license and click on Install


Step 36: Click Finish

Step 36: Agree the license and click on Install


Step 37: Click Close

Step 38: Click Next


Step 39: Accept the license and click on Install

Step 40: Click Finish


Step 41: “CardPrintingService installation process is completed” pop up message will appears
once installation done. Click on OK
Step 10: By Default the application pool in IIS Web Manager will be in
“DefaultAppPool” (Dot Net 2.0) as shown in the below image

a) Open Internet Information services (IIS) manager

To start IIS Manager from the Run dialog box

• On the Start menu, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then click
Run

• In the Open box, type inetmgr and then click OK

b) Now move to Advanced settings using below steps


(i) In IIS→ Default Web Site→Right click→Manage applications→Advanced
settings→Click as shown in the below image

c) By default application pool is selected with Default App Pool

d) If we run the service in Default App Pool the service will browse as shown in
the below image
Step 11: Now change “DefaultAppPool” to “ASP.NET V 4.0” and click on OK button
as shown in the below
Step 11: Click on CardPrintingService-Regional>>Content View as shown in the
below image

Step 13: Click on CardPrintingService.svc>>Browse as shown in below image

Step 14: Now service will run successfully as shown in the below image
Step 12: Finally open command prompt, Enter iisreset→ Click Enter
