Applied practice:
Introduction:
In this module on the Applied practice, I was allowed to choose a particular organization and
work here for nearly 4 months. Thus in this process I was asked to choose one domain, work
in that and reflect my thoughts on the domain, the organizational practices, learning methods,
team work, culture, ethical and the legal issues, professional learning vs traditional learning,
various advancements in the organization, the issues surrounding them being barrier to their
growth. Thus in my perception I have reflected the entire thoughts and reflections based on my
experience in form of What?, So what? & now what? Reflective model by Rolfe. All the
thoughts have been reflected as a part of personal study and thus intends to process of
improvement at both individual (my) level and the organizational level.
In our work place we have a guy who used to be rough on the black people and Asians. He
always showed partial attitude and dump huge amount of work only towards us in this process.
Thus there were inequality in work and this was also reflected in the work quality as these
coloured employees were demotivated and they lacked enough concentration in the work. Thus
the manager continued to do so until we all organized informal meeting to discuss of the issue
and took it to higher authorities, the management directly intervened took him out of the work
place citing
Conclusion:
Thus by the following study I have analysed the process of reflection study on a specific
organization I attended Intern, using the models thought in the class.
