CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Optical Housing-One-piece heavy-duty cast aluminum
with flanged hood to protect the regressed lens. Built-in cast
cradles provide rigid alignment of reflectors. lncorporates side
door for access into lamp compartment.
Lens Assembly Extruded aluminum frame, clear, tlat,
tempered glass lens and high-temperature gasket seals lamp
compartment from moisture, dust and insects. Designed for
uplighting or downlighting applications.
Optics-Ref lector is two-piece, aluminum, symmetrical half
sections. with Anodized finish. ldentical reflector halves.
combinations of specular, semi-ditfused and diffused finishes,
are utilized to provide up to six beam spread patterns.
Ballast Housing-The heaw-duty cast aluminum housing
provides excellent heat dissipation and maintenance ease.
A rear cast aluminum housing cover, secured by (4) captive
stainless steel screws, fully exposes all electrical componen'ts
for servicing. A weatherproof and thermally controlled cable
strain relief connector allows use of 75oC rated cords. All
luminaires are equipped with 3'length #14 AWG/3 conductor
type SOW-A prewired cords.

lndex and Mounting-All units are equipped with a vefiical
degree calibrated quadrant plate and repositioning device. A
single index nut seats quadrant plate and provides a positive
repositioning stop, returning luminaire to original aiming angle.
A %" thick steel trunnion (yoke) bracket is secured by two
pivot locking screws. Optional crossarm mounting fitting with
horizontal degree scale or a 2" pipe slipfitter assembly is
available.
lntegral Ballast-Siarting rated to -20oF ballast. Mercury
Vapor and Metal Halide ballast are constant wattage auto-
iranstormer (CWA)type. High Pressure Sodium ballast are
constant wattage autotransformer type using an elec'tronic
starter circuit. All ballast are high power factor.
Lampholder- Enclosed glazed porcelain socket with spring-
loaded, nickelplated center contact and reinforced lamp grip
screw shell.
Finish Standard baked-on enamel paintfinish is Dark
Bronze. Other finishes available.
lamps Accommodates all 10O0 watt lvlercury Vapor, High
Pressure Sodium lamps; and up to 150O watt Metal Halide.
