The presenter has explained about classroom management. Thus, classroom management is the
process of organizing and conducting a classroom so that it maximizes student learning
(Kellough & Kellough, 2011). The objectives of classroom management an objective method
measures progress towards the goals and provide a framework for giving constructive and
focused feedback that helps teachers incorporate higher levels of desired behaviors into their
interactions with students in the classroom (Stuhlman, S.W., Hamre B. K., Downer, J.T., Pianta,
R. C. 2018: 4). Classroom management is concerned with a course of action of teachers’
behavior and activities that are basically anticipated that would develop student co-operation
and consideration in classroom (Brannon, 2010). The goal is to create a representative
classroom that supports the students to develop their potentials or skills academically.
Moreover, there are classifications of classroom management: room management, and student
management. The activities are needed in the classroom to support increasing students’ skill, so
it can be the measure of classroom management goals. Model or approaches of classroom
management is also important to support learning process. Furthermore, Indonesia has their
national education standard based on ministry laws no. 19 year 2005, chapter 2, verse 1.

Brannon (2010) defines that classroom management is concerned with a course of action of
teachers’ behavior and activities that are basically anticipated that would develop student co-
operation and consideration in classroom. It refers to the wide variety of skills and techniques
that teachers use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive and academically
productive during a class. Classroom management extends to everything that teachers may do
to facilitate or improve student learning which would include such factors as behavior,
environment, materials, and activities.

I can conclude that the growing emphasis on classroom management is based on the general
recognition that effective instruction requires effective classroom management, and that strong
management skills are the foundation of strong teaching. Classroom management techniques
may appear deceptively simple, but successfully and seamlessly integrating them into the
instruction of students typically requires a variety of sophisticated techniques and a significant
amount of skill and experience. While the specific techniques used to manage classrooms and
facilitate learning can vary widely in terminology, purpose, and execution
