Functions:
a. Suggests and recommends items to be included for the Audio Visual Room (AVR) in
coordination with the Librarian in preparation of the Annual Program Action Plan
b. Evaluates and recommends in the acquisition of AV materials and equipment
c. Facilitates the reservation, issuance and retrieval of borrowed AV materials
d. Prepares the cataloging and classifying of audio-visual materials using the Dewey Decimal
Classification System
e. Takes charge of personnel and students orientation and training on the use of AV materials
f. Keeps and maintains all records of AV operations
g. Documents and keeps an update of audio-visual presentations, photos and videos of school
activities
h. Supervises the maintenance of all AV materials and equipment
i. Prepares and submits performance and monthly reports of the AV section
j. Attends seminars, workshops, meetings, conferences and other related activities
k. Performs other library functions assigned by Principal, Non Teaching Personnel Head and the
school Librarian as deemed necessary
