Crown Academy 2020

The Crown Academy is a division of the Miss High School America Pageant Organization. The Crown
Academy Program is for young ladies age five (5) to twelve (12). The purpose of the program is to
introduce girls to the Miss High School America Organization who have an interest in community service
and possibly someday competing in the Miss High School America national pageants. It is also for girls
who want to support a particular contestant by representing her during pageant week and taking part in
national pageant events.

All Crown Academy participants have the opportunity to take part in the exciting Miss High School
America national pageant week. There will be activities and events during pageant week such as: Arrival
Ceremony, Pj Party, Pageant Workshop, Build a Bear Party, Museum of Discovery, Water Park Fun,
Community Service Event, Rehearsals and more! Participants will also take part in the opening number
production of the national pageant.

In addition to the Crown Academy Program, we encourage all participants to take part in their
titleholder’s year.

Important Details

Official Crown and Sash: The crown and sash will be the “official Miss High School America Crown Academy Crown and
Sash”. You will receive your sash at registration.

Program Book: Crown Academy Participants will be featured in the 2020 national program book. Please upload official
headshot to the Dropbox link provided in the Crown Academy group FB page.

Hotel: The Marriott on the River is the official host hotel of the Miss High School America 2020 national pageant. Be sure to
use the link to book your room. This will insure you will receive the discounted rate. You will want the convenience of
staying at the host hotel as well as being in the center of the action.

Tickets: Tickets to the national pageant will be sold at registration and at the door.

Miss High School America Banquet: Tickets will be available if participants and family would like to attend the event. Ticket
information will be emailed out at a later date.

Important information and updates will be posted on this private group page.

Rehearsals: In order to participate on stage, rehearsals are mandatory. A video of the opening number production will be
emailed out to you at a later date.

Opening Number Production: Information regarding opening number hip hop attire and choreography will be emailed out
at a later date.

• White, silver or clear shoes (age appropriate) Due to safety concerns, the shoes should be secure when running,
dancing or climbing stairs.
