CTRM Aero Composites Sdn. Bhd.

The Challenge: CTRM Aero Composites Sdn. Bhd. focuses on the manufacturing as well as
development of composite components for both aerospace and non-aerospace segments. In the
course of its work with customers such as Airbus and Boeing, the company was required to refer to
many standards relating to aerospace and non-aerospace technology.

The Solution: In 2007, CTRM Aero Composites
became a member of the SIRIM Technical Library
to take advantage of the library’s unmatched
access to standards and its complete solution for
document management.

The Challenge: Sepakat Setia Perunding Sdn. Bhd. is a consulting engineering firm providing
professional consulting services for transportation, defence, aviation, residential and commercial
development, and many other industries. The firm needed to keep up with constant changes and
updates in numerous standards, including MS, BS, ISO, IEC, ASTM, AS, JIS, NFPA and API.

The Solution: The firm became a member of the
SIRIM Technical Library in 1999 to gain access
to over 200,000 national and international
standards.
The Result: As a member of SIRIM Technical
Library, the firm refers or buys standards from
SIRIM as and when they are needed, often on a
monthly basis.
