I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of characteristic features of
vocal music of the Romantic period.
B. Performance Standard: The Learner sings and performs themes of selected songs
C. Learning Competencies :
1. identify selected theatrical forms from different art periods A9EL-IVa-1
2. identify the elements and principles of arts as manifested in Western Classical plays and opera

Let them identify the pictures of composers and describe their works.

The student will describe the pictures shown by the teacher.

Discuss about Renaissance Theatre.

They will be grouped into four. The teacher will assign them some report about the
playwrights of the Romantic Period.

There are 3 plays given and some handouts about the plays they will summarize it.
