Dear Mr. Jan Christian Uy,

The UST Model United Nations, one of the flagship events of the UST Asian Studies Society, is
proud to announce that it will be back on its formal session this coming February 27 and 28, 2020
at the University of Sto. Tomas, España, Manila. For the past six years, it has been known to
provide an exceptional diplomatic experience to all its participants. And now, on its 7th session, a
higher and a grander level of diplomacy is about to unravel.

UST Model United Nations 2020 will be different from the past UST MUNs. Instead of the
traditional simulations, it will be a simulation-seminar in which various students are intensively
trained as future catalysts of the international community through a series of delegate workshops
that are focused on enhancing their competencies in diplomatic communication, position and
resolution paper-writing. To conclude the diplomatic workshops, a mock simulation will
commence in order to serve as an application of what has been acquired from the 2-day workshop.
In light of this, it is our pleasure and privilege to invite you as the trainer/mentor for the
resolution paper-writing of this workshop. We are certain that your expertise on this matter will
be of great help in which you would be able to effectively train the next generation of diplomats. Commented [C1]: Kung kaya iinsert based on the

likely food) will be shouldered by the ASSOC.
With all of these being said, the UST Model United Nations 2020 as the First Party wishes to
propose the following to Mr. Jan Christian Uy as the Second Party:
1. The presentation and other materials that are needed to supplement the specified training
will be coming from the Second Party, which will also depend on the teaching strategies
he chooses to employ.
2. The duration for the resolution paper-writing will consume almost 2 hours of time on the
morning of the 2nd day (10:15 am to 12:00 pm).
3. The First Party, in return, will be posting its official list of mentors on its social media
accounts, will also give a certificate of recognition, a token of appreciation, and a free meal
on the day of the Second Party’s scheduled diplomatic workshop.
