AutoCAD

AutoCAD is a computerized computer aided software and also its a drafting software.It was
released in December 1989 by Autodesk.This software is used worldwide especially by
architects,engineers ,town planners etc. In Civil Engineering, this software is used to draw layouts
of buildings ,structural elements ,2D and 3D drawings of structures
.
Autodesk release new versions of AutoCAD every year.Latest version is AutoCAD 2019 which is
fully equipped with useful tools.

ETABS
ETABS stands for Extended 3D (Three-Dimensional) Analysis of Building Systems.It is a design
and analysis software in Civil Engineering in which we design frame structures and also do the
analysis of buildings.

It is a coordinated and productive tool for designs which range from simple 2D frames to elaborate
modern high-rises.Generally, It is used for the analysis of concrete shear walls and concrete
moment frames.it always preferred for design and analysis of concrete structures due to its
accuracy and efficient work.
