PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR IN-SERVICE TRAINING

I. Title: School In-Service Training on Good Manners and right Conduct Recovery
Program (GMRCRP), Rachel on Laptop Updates, KIBO Robots and Results-based
Performance Management System (RPMS) Review for Teachers.

Date: October 21-25, 2019

Time: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Venue: Dumalneg Elementary School

II. Rationale

The Mid-year In-service Training for Teachers (INSET) will be conducted in order to
improve efficiency, ability, knowledge and motivation in the teachers’ professional
work. This training will augment their needs for professional growth since not all
teachers are given the opportunities to attend trainings and seminars, and often lack
time for professional learning to enhance teaching practice. More so, this training
will update teachers on various programs, guidelines and other important
information concerning the teaching-learning process.

III. Overview

This INSET is designed to re-echo important trainings and seminars to improve

teaching pedagogies and to foster lifelong learning among pupils. Health Care and
Development, Strengthening Good Manners and Right Conduct and Recovery
Program (GMRCRP), Revisiting RACHEL on Laptop and KIBO Robots, and Learning
Assessment and Outcomes Analysis are among the topics that will be undertaken.

IV. Objectives

1. To deepen health awareness among teachers and pupils;

2. To underpin the development and recovery of GMRC in the school;
3. To obtain updates on ICT-based materials and strategies; and
4. To familiarize with the WBLS Learning Assessment and Outcomes Analysis.
V. Expected Outputs

The teachers will be able to accomplish the following outputs:

1. Instructional Materials, Activity Sheets, or Powerpoint Presentations integrating RACHEL
on Laptop and KIBO Robots;
2. Instructional Materials, Activity Sheets, or Powerpoint Presentations integrating values/
GMRC recovery
3. Assessment Tools/ Quarterly Examinations for Pupils
