HEART ATTACK

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Good morning audiences.

My name’s Nur Raviah, here I’m standing in front of you to try to explain about "The
Danger of Heart Attack and How to Overcome it".Heart attack, medically called myocardial
infarction, is a condition in which the blood supply to the heart is inhibited. This is an
emergency medical condition that is usually caused by blood clots or fat accumulation,
cholesterol, and other elements. This disruption of blood flow to the heart that can damage or
destroy the heart muscle and can be fatal.

Ladies and gentlemen,

A heart attack starts with an unclear pain, a faint discomfort, or a tightness in the chest.
Sometimes a heart attack only causes a mild discomfort; sometimes a heart attack can bring
the worst pain ever experienced, extreme tightness or feeling squeezed in the chest. Pain and
fear that doom will be approaching. The feeling of nausea and dizziness even fainted.

The main cause of heart attack is coronary heart disease. Coronary heart disease occurs
due to blockage of the main blood vessels that supply blood to the heart (coronary vessels)
due to accumulation of cholesterol in the form of plaque. Cracked plaque will result in blood
clots. Finally, blood clots block the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart through the
coronary vessels. This condition eventually leads to heart attack. Several factors that can
increase the risk of coronary heart disease, among others:
1. History of heart disease in the family, either because cholesterol is not normal
2. Diabetics, usually died because of complications in the heart
3. Smoking that can damage the organs of the lungs and heart
4. Blood pressure is too high
5. Unhealthy lifestyle

Ladies and gentlemen,

The importance of the role of the heart to the human body, we should all keep the heart
to function properly. There are ways we can do to care for our heart to stay healthy, namely:
1. Healthy diet (by avoiding foods high in fat and high cholesterol)
2. Stop smoking for smokers because cigarette smoke is not good for heart health
3. Avoiding stress
4. Avoid diabetes
5. Healthy lifestyle with frequent exercise
Therefore, if we want to avoid heart disease, we have to have a good lifestyle and healthy
eating, but we also must avoid the things that can lead to heart disease, and if it is due to heart
disease then should continue to consult the doctor because heart disease is not a mild disease.
