“The New World”

When the internet was not famous back at the days I only have one identity those days
was fun you don’t have to worry about anything else you just have to be yourself and do what
you always do. But when the internet system have invaded our society at the early 2000 human
beings have change the way they live. As early as 1950 the internet is being developed in 1969
the Arpanet was developed which is the first name given to the internet then it became Ethernet
and then in between 1982-1990 I forgot which year it is Ethernet is change to internet the term
which we know today. and then applications of internet just instantly came one time at another
first was yahoo, then google and then youtube so many application have been invented and then
Facebook was invented by Mark Zuckerberg. It was at this moment that the world have change
so drastically people know at this time have created their facebook and opened them everyday,
also the young generation know have is always watching at their phone making the
communication of human became less.

For my digital self I can say that me from social media is somehow different from the me
at real life. cause social media have no rules to follow you can post whatever you want, but think
before you post, cause nowadays posting bad post can hurt people so don’t just post or runt in
social media cause it has consequences. but me in my digital self I just observe what people post
and sometimes I react to their post so that they will be aware that they’re post is toxic or benign.
The me in the social media is a silent one cause me only observe I don’t post my personal life in
social media cause I myself know that one wrong post can cause so many conflicts so its better
to not post and just stay silent. I became like that because of one traumatic experience. I posted
a secret that my friend trusted me, cause I thought that everything will be solve If everyone knew
what that is and when I hit post boom everyone of my friends just start commenting and the
problem became so big, my parents even got involve in that conflict so I bow to myself to never
post again since then I never post anything in my social media account.

Social media is a good invention but don’t ever get to addicted in that thing cause each
day personal communication and interaction became less. So “Think Before You Post”

1. I will respect the post of my social media friends and not give them problems,
I will be kind to them and courteous and follow proper netiquette.
2. I will be honest and truthful to my interactions and never ever scam people
in social media.
3. I will never misrepresent myself, colleagues, other students, or Middle
College on or through the use of social media.
4. Never compromise the privacy, security, or reputation of myself, colleagues,
other students, or the college at any time.
5. Be aware that social media is a powerful platform of communication, and
can have far reaching implications in my future education, careers, and
personal life.
