I chose child care as my profession because I believe that raising children is a very important, challenging and
rewarding career. The purpose for the child care is to provide a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment for
children and to encourage the child’s intellectual, physical, social and emotional development during those hours
when parents or legal guardians are at work, in school or otherwise engaged. Construct daily and long-term
schedules of activities, implement plans and procedures to promote overall development and assess any needs
ensuring that their needs are meet.
