Para los verbos regulares, todas las formas, excepto la de la tercera persona del singular,
son iguales a la forma básica del verbo, pero la principal diferencia entre los verbos
regulares e irregulares en inglés, corresponde a la conjugación de los verbos para el
pasado. Para los verbos regulares se coloca "-ed" al resto del verbo para convertirlos al
pasado: simple, perfecto.

Si el verbo terminara en E como en el Verbo close, para formar el tiempo pasado solo le
agregamos una D y no ED

For regular verbs, all forms, except for the third person of the singular, are equal to the
basic form of the verb, but the main difference between regular and irregular verbs in
English corresponds to the conjugation of verbs for the past. For regular verbs, "-ed" is
placed in the rest of the verb to convert them to the past: simple, perfect.

If the verb ends in E as in the verb close, to form the past tense we only add a D and not
ED

Por ejemplo:

Example:

PRESENT PAST
play played
cry cried
work worked
jump jumped
Close closed

There are some exceptions, such as: run that does not vary in any way or time.
Hay algunas excepciones como por ejemplo: run que no varía en ninguna forma ni tiempo.
En el caso de los irregulares, estos cambian por completo su estructura dependiendo del
tiempo a utilizar: simple o perfecto, debido a que cuando tu necesites escribir o hablar en
tiempo pasado deberás memorizar el mismo en ese tiempo verbal. Por lo tanto, en los
Verbos Irregulares debes memorizar tanto el Tiempo Presente, así como el Tiempo
Pasado.

In the case of irregular people, they change their structure of time of use: simple or perfect,
when they need to write or speak in the past tense, they must memorize it in verbal tense.
Therefore, in irregular verbs you must memorize both the present tense and the past tense.
Por ejemplo:
Example:

Infinitive (PRESENT) past participle

break broke broken
sing sang sung.
Do did done
Fly flew flown
freeze froze frozen

¿puedes Comprender ahora como se maneja el tiempo pasado de los verbos Irregulares?
Cuando hablamos en Tiempo Presente escribiremos y pronunciaremos de una forma, pero
cuando estemos hablando en Tiempo Pasado, escribiremos y pronunciaremos de manera
distinta.

Can you understand now how the past tense of Irregular verbs is handled? When we speak
in Present Time we will write and pronounce in a way, but when we are speaking in Past
Time, we will write and pronounce in a different way.
