Kutaraja and "surrendered" to the Dutch.

to help them, so they gave Teuku Umar the title of Teuku Umar
Johan Pahlawan and made him the commander of the Dutch army
unit with full power.

heavy equipment, weapons and ammunition, then never returned.

house, and also pursued his whereabouts. Dien and Umar continued
to pressure the Dutch, then attacked Banda Aceh (Kutaraja) and
Meulaboh (the former Teuku Umar base), so that the Dutch
continued to change generals in charge.
As a result of this, the Dutch troops felt sympathy for the Acehnese
and Van der Heyden disbanded the "De Marsose" unit. This event
also led to the success of the General General because many people
who did not participate in the jihad lost their lives, and fear still
remained with the Acehnese population.
Cut Nyak Dien's struggle then led the resistance against the Dutch in
the interior of Meulaboh with his small army and tried to forget her
husband. This force continued to fight until its destruction in 1901
because the Dutch army was accustomed to fighting in the Aceh
area.

treated there. The disease such as farsightedness and gout gradually
recovered. However, Cut Nyak Dien was eventually banished to
Sumedang, West Java.

resistance and also because he continued to deal with fighters who
were not yet submissive.
