This study entitled, “Teachers Leadership and Trust: Its effect on Teachers
Performance” written by Novalia Rachmah and I Made Putrawan was uploaded on the
International Journal Scientific and Research Publications, volume 8 issue 1 January 2018. The
study aimed to verify whether is there direct effect of leadership and trust on the teachers’
performance.
The study starts by describing how education contributes to the progress of the nation
and how government make its agenda for education. Then, the researchers posted the
problem in education in their home country, Indonesia which was supplied with evidences to
support and affirm their arguments. Then finally, they stablished the focus of the study at the
end of the introduction which indicates that the study examines the direct effect of teacher
leadership and trust on the performance of the teachers and vice versa. The literature review
of the study adequately supports the arguments of the study and provides wider lens in the
scrutiny of the subject matter. The method employed by the researcher is the survey method
with causal approach characterized by data analysis. Finally, the study revealed that teachers’
leadership is not a lone effect on teachers’ performance but also depends on trust. This can
be seen in the conclusion of the findings that there is a direct effect between teacher’s
researchers and the methodology and findings. The introduction of the study was well
presented. The arguments were presented in a very understandable way and flow of ideas
were smooth. The researchers devised a well-organized research procedure and treatment
Teacher leadership may be anew term for the readers but it has been done in years
especially in k12 program and even beyond. It could be, therefore, concluded that with the
prevalence of this system it has to be taken much consideration the effect it gives to the
school, students, and the teacher leaders themselves. Evidently it has great effect on the

This study entitled, “The Impact of Teacher Leadership on School Effectiveness in the
Selected Exemplary Secondary Schools” authored by David Paul Hook for his dissertation at Texas
A&M University on May 2016. The study used a qualitative research to study the impact of teacher
The researcher starts the study by defining leadership. It is expressed that leadership is a
complex issue in schools. Then, he stated his arguments about leadership with several authors in
which he derived his understanding of the subject matter. He also amplified the importance of having
effective leaders in his discussion. Then, he eventually bit by bit uncover the focus of his study. The
main purpose of the study is to examine the role that teacher leadership plays in the school
effectiveness and he insights gained in the report should be used to help district and campus
administrators better understand how campus leadership that includes teachers impacts the school
effectiveness. Thus, he wants to answer the research questions, 1. What leadership role do teachers
in the two school in the study play in producing school effectiveness and 2. What evidence shows that
teacher leadership is impacting school effectiveness. The findings of the study eventually show that
teachers leadership has direct effect on the performance of the teachers. Thus, it is recommended
that teacher leadership must be taken much consideration the school management in order to help
research was able to sustain his arguments and supported them with valid and reasonable resources.
The review was also substantial, it provides enough literature discussion and studies which help
enlighten the readers in the subject matter. The literature review is well-capsulated that It covers all
the comprehensive information in understanding the main focus of the research. The Methodology
also presented and utilized in a manner the research needs to be treated. Lastly, the process of
illuminating the findings of the study was well persevered and sustained in the flow of the study. It
Teacher leadership indeed is a good asset in the school performance. It honed and delivered
properly in order to attain the desired goal of the administrative body. Trainings and seminars for the
prospective teacher leader must also be provided to help them grow in their field of work,
