1. Provide your own definition of MAMMAL.

(Please don't cheat - you may look up the vocabulary, but don't copy the definition from a(n)
encyclopedia/dictionary. Think of this as a kind of experiment.)

2. Which characteristics spring to your mind when you think of a mammal? List as many as
possible (you can also use short descriptions in verbal form).

2.1. Arrange the characteristics into two groups:

a) Physical appearance;
b) Other.

2.2. In each group (a and b), mark the one you consider the most typical. (If you can't decide,
mark two.)

3. Name three species that, in your opinion, represent prototypical mammals.

4. Repeat all steps for the FISH category.
