A. REVIEWING PREVIOUS LESSON The teacher will ask the following questions:(Review on what you have learned in Prcatical Research 1.)

What do you recall about these two words: Inquiry and research?

What is Inquiry? What is Research? What is the differences and similaries between Inquiry and Research?

Group Activity: Concept Elaboration

-Form a group of three and do this group activity.

-Each group will do the task: Determine whether Inquiry or Research is applicable to the given situations. Check the
corresponding comun of your answer.

Situation Inquiry Research

A person wants to know the occupation of one condominum.

A student wants t know the medicinal effects of guava leaves.

Mr.Cryz wants to know the technique to make his electric fan function instantly.

Professor Gomez wants to discover the impact of social networking on his students’ learning abilities.

Aling Rosa wants to know the reason behind the decrease of her sales for the day.

A business man wants to find out which btween these two marketing strategies: free tasting and
attractive packaging, could increase daily sales.

Note: You mat think of your own topic as the basis of your questions.

G. MAKING GENERALIZATION AND The learners will now know the characteristics, sterngth, weakness and kinds of quantitative research.
