INTRODUCTION
October 21, 2015.

This is just a list of tables for either randomly generating interesting versions of classic monsters and villains or for inspiration while improvising or
planning a session. I tend to use something like this as something in between. I’ll often have lists like this on paper in front of me in a session where
the PCs are likely to run into one or more of these. When something comes up, I’ll grab some things off the lists (often without rolling). Then I will
improvise the rest, as needed.

Included here are:

- Goblin gangs, when encountered in groups, these troublemakers and pranksters can be deadly and frightening.
- Lycanthropes, the gamut of humanoids that transform into beasts and hunt in packs or as individuals, from werewolves to unusual varieties.
- Restless undead, when someone’s spirit lingers in the world to create a ghost, ghoul, specter, wight, wraith, or zombie.
- Serial killers, the monsters among us who kill because its in their nature, harboring a heart of evil beyond all reason.
- Vampires, whose dark powers come with the curse of forever hungering for the blood of the living.
- Witches, who delve into the secrets of dark magic, mastering foul hexes, powers of foretelling, and unusual potions.

These tables are not tied to a specific game or system, but I’m currently using them my own 5th Edition game.

I want to thank everyone at /r/DnDBehindTheScreen for encouragement and positive feedback on these tables. I especially want to thank
/u/laplanters and /u/Akuma_Reiten, whose recent posts inspired portions of the lycanthrope and restless undead tables.

Thanks for reading! Get creative! And enjoy!

I do not hold any copyright for any Dungeons & Dragons content. This is an original homebrew supplement written to be used in conjunction with
the Player’s Handbook, the Dungeon Master’s Guide, and the Monster Manual published by Wizards of the Coast.
