INTRODUCTION

The strategic framework of the Ministry of Education for period 2015-2025 establishes the structure
that will enable progress towards making Colombia the most educated country in Latin America, and
achieve the strategic objectives of the four years period in education set out in the National
Development Plan 2014-2018: Together for a new Country, Peace, Equity and Education. Under this
framework, this document defines the top purpose of the entity by 2025, its vision and the vision of the
education sector by 2018, the ratification of the mission as well as the definition of principles of action,
strategic objectives, initiatives, programs and projects of the ministry.

I.ED. INTEGRATED JORGE ISAAC It faces the improvement of its development plan. To undertake
this flight, those of us who work here, teachers and managers, need the basic navigation instruments,
what is necessary to measure and control the speed, height, visibility and setbacks of the road. This
Development Plan is the travel log of the next five years. The precise map that will guide us and allow
us to recognize our place in time and in the time that we should live.
MISSION

We are a private educational community that offers formal education: Pre-school, primary, secondary and
middle school, to the community of the metropolitan area of the city of Bucaramanga, based on Catholic
principles and the set of legal norms established by the Ministry of National Education. We seek to train our
students fully supported by excellent human talent (teachers), strengthening the principles of respect and the
duties of citizens in order to achieve a better quality of life in our community.

VIEW

In the year 2023, the "Jorge Isaac" Integrated School will be a leader at the local and regional level in the
integral formation of children and young people that respond to the demands of society and contribute to its
development and growth, characterized by efficiency and effectiveness in the development of our
educational work, managing to diversify the commercial emphasis according to the needs of the labor
market.

STRATEGY

I. "It characterizes the school to its community" Definitely yes, its main population are the students and
their purpose in the society.

II. "It provides a sense of direction and purpose" It mainly refers to the purpose of the students, their
train as leaders in the social, scientific and research fields. 3. "It serves as a criterion for policy-
making" Social policy, leaders' policy, by the social and emotional development.
III. 4."It sets the school culture" It is difficult to define the school's culture only seeing the mission, but
according to the entire PEI and analyzing it, we could say that it meets all the requirements and sets
the school structure.

IV. 5. "It generates consistency of action" Is mainly focused on the dynamic, didactic and action. Its
main goal is the students can perform in any environment.

V. 6. "It identifies clients" It is focused on the students' training and development.

VI. 7. "It serves to motivate and challenge" It would be necessary to implement a motivational goal,
something students feel and identify as own; it doesn't actually say something about this.

Student profile

It seeks to form a person who is knowledgeable about respect and love of God. Give authentic testimony of
religious, ethical and moral values. Practitioner of the basic rules for coexistence, such as sincerity, respect,
solidarity, courtesy, tolerance, responsibility and cordiality. Responsible with his own person in the toilet,
presentation, order and homework. Fulfilling his duty as a son and student. Recursive, creator and generator
of ideas. Appreciate, value and take care of the surrounding environment. He feels proud of being a
Georgian student, of his cultural, civic identity, lover and defender of his country, his symbols and
traditions. Self-assured with the support of their parents committed to their comprehensive training. Value
and respect life and intimacy of oneself and others. Give importance to all subjects because you do not
prepare only for college but to know how to live better. Its values are based on self-esteem and
responsibility, so it is critical, builder and innovative.

GENERAL STRUCTURE OF THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN

CURRICULAR TRANSFORMATION

INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC

The curricular transformation that will be carried out by INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC is a consequence of the self-evaluation process
developed in the first half of 2019. This transformation aims to review, design, implementation and evaluation of a renewed curriculum
proposal that integrates and articulates the dimensions of human development (body, emotions, social relations, intellect, communication,
ethics and sense of life), knowledge areas, extra-classroom activities, and the founding principles of INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC
school The principles that will guide the curricular renewal are integrality, flexibility, interdisciplinarity, appropriation of knowledge,
development of thought and language, and communities of practice and learning.
The goals of the Development Plan contained in this section respond to four moments: an analysis
curriculum, the design of a curriculum integration proposal, its implementation and the evaluation of
integrations Within this framework, the following goals are set:

1. Socialization of the new PEI and the Development Plan (2019.1).


2. Analysis of the concurrent curricula in the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC and its relation to the
principles of PEI (2019.1).
3. Conceptual considerations for the design of the curricular organization, appropriation and relevance
for the context of the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC (2019. 2)
4. Design of the new curricular organization for the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC that articulates and
integrates the dimensions of human development and the fields of knowledge and consider an
enriched proposal of extra-classroom activities. At this stage there will be the advice of external
experts (2019.2- 2021.2).
5. Construction and implementation of a new learning evaluation system and the development of the
students that articulate with the new proposal and the actions developed in the transformation
curricular (an authentic and formative evaluation (2019.2- 2022.2).
6. Integration implementation: progressive integrator modules and double program management
(2019.1-2021.2).
7. Start-up and evaluation of the integrated curriculum. (2022-1y2).

TEACHER SCHOOL

The new approach of the School of Teachers aims to build a formal training program for the teachers of the
school. At the end of five years a continuous training will be consolidated, which will allow teachers to
assume the responsibilities of an active, dynamic and differentiated curriculum, to that each one of them can
have a much more significant impact on student learning. The goals of the Development Plan contained in
this chapter are:

1. Design of a curriculum for the School of Teachers

2. Implementation of a training program for the leading teachers of the modules of training

3. Development of a teacher training program with international level.

4. Restructuring of a support and welfare program for all teachers


5. Implementation of pilot workshops for teacher training and regular operation of the School

Of teachers.

INTERNATIONALIZATION

The internationalization in the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC aims to harmonize the centennial mission of
the School with an international and intercultural dimension. Seeks to train Colombian leaders, but also
inhabitants of the world the internationalization in the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC focuses on the
following axes: the internationalization of the curriculum to form global citizens, the expansion of the
programs of Teacher training, student mobility and consolidation of different international alliances.

The objectives of the Development Plan contained in this chapter respond to five aspects of
internationalization:

 Internationalization management. Within this aspect, the following objective is proposed: Design an
institutional policy that contains internationalization guidelines in accordance with the
 Strategic orientation of the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC
 Review of national and international standards in accordance with the design of the new
organization.
 Curriculum for the INTEGRADO JORGE ISAAC
 Development and adherence to conventions and international networks for mobility and student
agreements. Of international cooperation.
 Development of a teacher training program abroad.
 Participation in quality assessment processes for accreditation purposes.
