Based on a thorough analyzation of my personal qualities, I have realized that I am a natural leader. I like
to take responsibilities and take that as an opportunity to help the group and learn something from the
experience in return. I’m patient which is for me a very important quality a teacher must possesses.
Patience is the key to attain a well-managed classroom. I am confident in myself. I can speak well in
front of a class during reports and presentation. That is one quality that will help me become more
confident to teach when I become a professional teacher.

My quality to think well under pressure is also a starter quality. I am dependable in tasks so I know that I
can build strong relationships with my superiors. I am reasonable and non-biased and I can use this
quality to make correct judgements without being unfair. Sound and fair judgements are very important
to avoid discrimination among students. I am a little bit of an OC person. I always want everything to be
in proper order. I rant everything to be in its proper place. This will help me with my organization skills.
My listening skills is good so it will help me with lots of things regarding my students’ whims. Everyone
should be heard out to avoid conflict. I may not be perfect and still lack a bundle of qualities but I know
that everything can be learned and I am striving to learn from it.

B.

Experienced teachers teach learners that goals are immensely important and they teach no just about
the beauty of logic and numbers but about beauty of words, art and music. They should teach students
how to have compassion and empathy towards others. They should always remain calm in times of
difficult situations to think quickly and fairly. A teacher may use whatever benefits his/her particular
personality type to get an edge. They can always make trusting and conducive environment. They can
also use their sense of humor to help students relax, encourage them to persevere and to reach out to
them. Kindness and deep concern for others are wonderful qualities often associated with good
teaching.

In other words, balancing elements of one’s own personality and qualities with the demands of the
teacher/learner situation requires using elements of your own personality while applying skills and
training learned through your training and experience. You can build on who you are to become a better
teacher.

LYREL JOY O. MAGO

I used my personal qualities to mold a learner with good attributes were they can carry on throughout
their life. I will give essential information along with real life experiences for them to determine the
differences between what is taught and what is the reality. Through giving a task, they let themselves
discover new ideas were they could utilize. Moreover, letting them express their thoughts make them
participate in the class and engaging in group activity will develop their leadership and social skills. Also
as a teacher. I will consider every learner’s differences. I will give them the opportunity to demonstrate
their capability and skills. Regardless of the learners background I will give fair evaluation based on their
performance. All in all, my personal attributes could help me to become a good teacher.

Based on my observation, the experienced teacher used her personal qualities to make her a good
teacher. By giving a proper instruction the students have willingness to participate in the lesson while
the teacher gives a positive feedback to her students. Also, she calmly managed the class by giving a
warning written on the board. Whenever there is a student wants to answer she doesn’t let her student
fuel ashamed when the answer is wrong, she corrects students with explanation. Generally, the
experienced teacher I have observed possesses good attributes that makes her a good teacher.

To become a good teacher, one must possess the attributes of being a good teacher. Being a good
teacher cannot be achieved easily. You have to adjust in different situations depending on the students
you handle. A teacher should be compassionate, intelligent, fair and etc. that makes a good teacher
good. It is important to be equipped by these personal qualities to become and effective teacher.

In using this personal quality that I possess it is important that we do it by heart. I use my personal
qualities to become a good teacher in such a way that will really contribute to the learning of my
students. I made sure that I do it by heart no to just by obligation. Lastly, I use my personal qualities in
order to develop as an effective teacher for my students.

A teacher should understand and know the learning needs of his/her students and that what I observed.
The teacher that I observed do understand the students. She used his personal qualities to give the
students what they have to learn. The learning of the students depends on how good the teacher is. The
capability of the students becomes clear. When the teacher and students has a great connection.

The way the teacher accommodates her students, gives a positive ambiance for the learners to
participate. Thus, the personal qualities that I observed makes her a good teacher. The ambiance of
learning is positive, because I observed that every learner is willing and cooperative when given a
chance. Her personal qualities where used according to the learners need.

HANNE JONALEYE ASTROLOGO

I will use my personal qualities to become a good teacher by applying these to myself. Being a good
teacher is not easy, but if I have this quality I will pursue my dreams to be a good teacher. A good
teacher has a responsibility to learn their students, and I will do my best to develop their knowledge.
The personal qualities of a good teacher can also the way to help the students to learn, in that, students
will have an interest to listen in my discussions because they will see that I can be a role model to
them. Those personal qualities have also a good result to the learners because they will not be able to
pressure during the class discussion because they know that I have personal qualities to become a good
teacher.

B.

She has a quality of being an emotional stability. I notice that even she’s a busy person, she can also
show her smile in front of the class, she is very cheerful. The teacher also maintains the learning
environment, all of the students are listening to her and participating. I can also see her fairness because
she let all the students to participate.

KARLLYN M. YEBRA

A.

To become a good teacher I should use the qualities I have listed on this learning episode and apply
them when I become a teacher maybe a year from now. I will pursue the good qualities I already have
and I will learn the others. Because I believe that everything can be learned specially if it will benefit the
majority.

For examples, being a humble person will help me to have good relationship in my co-teachers as well as
my students. Then being (fair in a way) that I treat people in a way that does not favor some over others
will help me to make fair judgment and balance the situation. While qualities that I don’t have like
holding anger and like, I will make sure to learn this thing so that I will become not just a teacher but a
good teacher.

One of the biggest roles of a teacher is to educate the students that are placed in their care. But beyond
that, teachers serve many other roles. They build a warm environment, mentor and nurture students,
and become role models in and outside the school.

Being intelligent, compassionate, emotionally stable, innovative, fair, cooperative, buoyant, reliable and
have self-confident must be possessed by the teacher to become a good one. And of course, they should
not only possess the qualities but should also live by these by applying them in their everyday life and in
every situation they have specially inside the classroom.

BERNANDINO S. CAMPO

To become a good teacher, first, I will create materials that suits to the learners’ interest to have an
exciting and meaningful lesson. Second, fairness, I will evaluate their works fairly based on their
academic performances as well as their attitudes inside the classroom. Moreover, patient is also the
characteristic I will apply in dealing with my students. Because what they see in my characteristics might
imitate. Also, honesty not only with my student but with my colleagues as well honesty of the students
makes a great impact in developing their personalities. It is okay to admit that they haven’t accomplish
the task but with a valid reason. And lastly, sense of humor makes the class livelier. As a future teacher I
will teach essential lesson with humor for the students to participate in the class.

B.

The teacher knows the strategies or techniques that use to his students because they know the
differences of the students. He encourages their students to participate in the discussion and give a
positive feedback. Also he can have managed the classroom well and properly.

When student answer even it is not accurate he not let his student feel wrong or ashamed. He show
fairness to all students.
