At the end of this page you can submit candidate form to stand for elections to the Board of
Directors and/or the Steering Group of MyData Global for the term starting Jan 1st 2020. These
two leadership bodies have distinct roles de ned in the association bylaws.

MyData Global was founded in late 2018 and currently we have an international leadership team
consisting of seven Board members and four Steering Group members serving until the end of
the year and ve permanent employees.

If you have any questions regarding your potential candidacy or the process, please don’t hesitate

ELECTION TIMELINE WHO CAN CANDIDATE

(45 days before the elections):

(23:59:00 HST (UTC -10h), after this no more
updates to candidate pro les.

Oct 15th
(30 days before the elections):
Final candidate list and pro les will be sent
for the members. 30 days time for members ROLE OF THE BOARD AND

Board or Steering Group or Whichever?

Please indicate if you are available to serve in the Board, in the Steering Group or any one of them.

Individuals can candidate for the Board, for the Steering Group, or both at the same time. However, one can
only be elected to one of those leadership bodies.

Casting votes for both Board and Steering Group elections happen at the same time period. The votes for
Board elections will be counted rst. Those candidates that are successful in the Board election become
non eligible for the Steering Committee and votes they had received in the Steering Group elections
become void.

Alternate Member (must for board candidates)

Indicating an alternate members is mandatory for those who candidate for the board, if you candidate to
the steering committee only then having an alternate member is not mandatory.

For each of the principal board members, a personal alternate member shall be elected. If a principal board
member resigns or is removed during their term, their personal alternate will act as a board member for the
rest of the term. Alternate Member name can be provided also later on until October 14th (end of the day).
