Subject : GUIDELINES FOR DATES AND TIMES OF GENERAL ELECTION

1. The dates and times of elections in November shall be left to the discretion of the
incumbent JPMAP Officers. The order of events for which dates are to be
determined by the Election Committee are as follows:

a) Selection of election-related dates and deadlines.

b) Announcement of elections at least one week prior to candidacy meeting.
c) One candidacy meeting to familiarize potential candidates of the Election
Code.
d) The filing deadline to be held on the Friday of the week of candidacy meeting.
e) The determination of qualifications to be held the same day as the filing
deadline.
f) Notification of Candidacy
g) General election to commence the Wednesday after the filing deadline,
lasting from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
h) Results to be obtained, validated, and announced 6:00 p.m. on the day of
General election.
