INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The product documentation is available online in multiple formats (UPK Player, PDF
or HTML). The online documentation can be found at
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/upk/documentation/index.html.

Installation instructions are available from within the UPK installation wizard. To
access the Installation or Upgrade guides, run the .exe located in the Setup
directory after unzipping the media pack. Alternatively, you can navigate to the
directory \Branding\UPK\Doc\<LANG>\Reference within the unzipped setup directory to
view the Installation and Administration or Upgrade guides without launching the
installer. (Note: \<LANG>\ is the language code for the language in which you would
like to view the documents. For example, to view the documentation in English the
path would be \Branding\UPK\Doc\en\Reference.)

Comprehensive product documentation is also included in this media pack and is


automatically installed onto your computer when you install the software. After
installation is complete, go to Start, Programs, User Productivity Kit,
Documentation to access the product documentation.

course; Getting Started with UPK at the following location

ENABLEMENT SERVICE PACKS FOR ORACLE USER PRODUCTIVITY KIT

Enablement Service Packs include new and updated support for Oracle User
Productivity Kit and User Productivity Kit Professional. Enablement Service Packs
may provide enhanced object and context recognition for target applications, in-
application support, help menu integration, new or enhanced features and
resolutions to some known issues. Installing an Enablement Service Pack is not
required, but may provide features that you find beneficial while working with User
Productivity Kit Standard or Professional. Each Enablement Service Pack includes
all updates from previous Service Packs. For example, Enablement Service Pack 3
would include all updates in Enablement Service Pack 1 and Enablement Service Pack
2. It is not necessary to install those previous Service Packs prior to installing
Enablement Service Pack 3.
